UE Mechanical Engineering Student Competes at national ASME Leadership Seminar

Dionna O’Daniel, mechanical engineering senior, recently attended the ASME Student Leadership Seminar in Los Angeles, California. Attendees had the opportunity to network with other section leaders and many working mechanical engineering professionals. The seminar is designed to provide student section officers and volunteers with the tools and skills they need to run their sections more effectively with the goal of carrying these leadership skills over to their career as they enter the workforce. While there, students were divided into groups to compete in an impromptu presentation competition. Dionna’s group received a first place award for their PowerPoint presentation - “Growing with ASME.”
