Dr. Stamps is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Evansville. He was recognized for his efforts as a teacher by winning the "Outstanding Teacher Award" for 2004 from the Illinois/Indiana Section of the ASEE. Before coming to UE, Dr. Stamps was senior staff member at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM and became a consultant for the Department of Energy and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission after his UE faculty appointment. Dr. Stamps has been a faculty member at UE since 1995.
